What is NMN?
NMN (nicotinamide mononucleotide) is a molecule your body uses to make NAD+, a coenzyme every cell needs. It occurs naturally in the body and in small amounts in foods such as broccoli, avocado and cabbage.
What does NMN do in the body?
NMN raises NAD+, which your cells use to produce energy and carry out repair and maintenance. NAD+ levels tend to decline with age, which is why NMN has drawn research interest around energy, metabolism and healthy ageing.
Is the science behind NMN settled?
Not yet. The early research is genuinely promising and human studies are growing, but it remains an active field rather than settled fact. We would rather tell you that honestly than overstate it, and we update our view as better evidence emerges.
How is NMN different from NR or niacin?
They are all building blocks in the same pathway to NAD+, just at different points. NMN sits one step closer to NAD+ than NR (nicotinamide riboside), while niacin (vitamin B3) is a more traditional precursor. The interest in NMN is around how directly it supports NAD+ production.
Is NMN safe to take every day?

Every ānjīn product is made in the UK in GMP and BRC-accredited facilities, two of the most recognised standards for food safety and quality. That accreditation covers the whole production process, from how raw materials are sourced to how the finished capsules are made, so quality and consistency are built in at every stage rather than checked at the end.
Can you trace where each ingredient comes from?
Yes. Full traceability is a requirement of our BRC-accredited system. Every ingredient can be tracked from its origin through to the finished product, supported by detailed batch records at each stage of production, so a specific batch could be traced quickly if a question ever arose.
What does "GMP and BRC-accredited" actually mean for me as a customer?
In plain terms, three things: safety, purity and consistency. Rigorous protocols keep the products safe to take, strict supplier audits and material checks keep them pure, and in-house testing and spot-checking keep every batch consistent with the last. It is the reassurance of knowing the same standards apply to every bottle, every time.
